World Premiere of Juliana Hall's "The Bells"

On March 25, the Contemporary Undercurrent of Song Project presented a Composer Portrait recital featuring works by Juliana Hall. Brent Funderburk accompanied CUSP artistic director/founder and soprano Alexandra Porter in the world premiere of Hall's "The Bells."

The dramatic song written in four sections is based on Edgar Allen Poe's onomatopoeic poem by the same title.
